We can't express how proud we are of ALL the people in the Verde Valley who have rallied together to support Plan B in the last few days, not only with this monumental rescue effort but our major push for the ESA.
In addition to the "usual supsects" like Mark Happe from Pets Return Home in Clardale who has taken all the puppies and their mothers to prepare them for adoption, a total of 36 dogs, we have a new sanctuary, built in less than a week thanks to Walker Marchal taking another dozen!
What is more, a significant amount of the total funds raised, and that's a lot of money, have been raised through our Plan B donors which is outstanding. Thank you all who donated, none of this could have been achieved without the funding for medical supplies and expertise, food, transportation, building materials in several locations and legal expenses.
Our Call of the Wild event and the travelling art installation working with Lauren Strohacker has begun to take shape - literally! Local artist and sculptor John Soderberg has joined the project to help out with the production of the wolf silhouetters which launch this major artwork at Tlaquepaque in just a few weeks' time!
