Sedona Wolf Week has something for everyone. The Apex Protection Project and six members of their Pack will be coming to Sedona. Speakers on issues related to wolves will be coming in from all over the country as well.  There are films, wolf socials, kids’ activities, school presentations and fundraisers - literally something for everyone!

Sedona Wolf Week is a free event and open to everyone with a few exceptions. There are programs within Wolf Week where a donation is required. 100% of the donations received will go directly back to the Apex Protection Project and other nonprofits that advocate, rescue and support wolves.

Rewrite the Fairy Tale

Sedona Wolf Week is excited to launch the 1st Annual Rewrite the Fairy Tale contest. Writers of all levels and ages can submit a revised version of the story Little Red Riding Hood. Judges will select a winning entry and a book will be published of all eligible entries. To submit your story and for complete contest rules click here.

The Apex / Plan B Wolf Co-Existence Panel The purpose is to bring together wolf advocates, cattlemen, government agencies and other relevant parties to participate in a forum for positive and purposeful discussion. Panelists include:

  • Jim DeVos, assistant director of wildlife management for the Arizona Game and Fish Department
  • Seth Wilson, Consulting Conservation Biologist to the Blackfoot Challenge
  • Marc Cooke, Executive Director, Wolves of the Rockies.

The general public is invited as we work to help resolve the conflicts and find ways for all those involved to co-exist.
